Kevin, the best piece of advice I can give you is this. Think of a great idea in your head, whether it be a photogallery, a place for your highschool friends to meet and chat online, or anything at all that sparks your interest and develop it. Do this because it is for YOU and you will stick to it longer than if it wasn't something you wanted to do. Also, you will encounter many obstacles because it involves something you do not know how to do. Don't give up then because this is where you learn the most and become better at what you do! Everytime I come to an obstacle I learn it. I dont just make an effort and give up...I don't stop until I have made it work! If you do this, then you will find that you are learning more and more everytime you code!

Good luck and keep me updated!

What about me? Well I have my own blog and I am 15 years old. I also want to be a web developer like you. I just don't know where to start. I mean, I know real basic stuff, like inserting data from a form to MySQL DB, but I really don't know where to continue, or more plainly how to continue. What would you advice me?
